Agreement to These Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Yahtz, including the website, account features, game creation, invite links, score sheets, leaderboards, and related services. By accessing or using Yahtz, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use Yahtz. If you use Yahtz on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Yahtz.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and invite links.
- You must promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized account access.
Permitted Use
Yahtz is provided for lawful personal or internal game-night scorekeeping. You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, scrape or overload the service, reverse engineer hosted portions of the service, or use Yahtz to violate anyone's rights or applicable law.
User Content and Game Data
You remain responsible for names, scores, and other information you enter into Yahtz. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, display, and store that content as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service.
Invite codes and links can allow others to view or participate in a game. Only share them with people you intend to invite.
Rules and Scores
Yahtz helps track scores for Yahtzee-style games, but it is not an official rules authority. You are responsible for agreeing on house rules, verifying entries, and resolving score disputes with other players.
Third-Party Services
Yahtz may rely on third-party services for authentication, hosting, storage, analytics, communications, and infrastructure. Your use of those integrated features may also be subject to the third parties' terms and policies.
Intellectual Property
Yahtz, including its software, design, branding, and service content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership rights in Yahtz.
Service Changes and Availability
We may modify, suspend, discontinue, limit, or remove any part of Yahtz at any time. We may also suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for the service, or used Yahtz unlawfully.
Disclaimers
Yahtz is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Yahtz will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or accurate.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yahtz and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or use. Our total liability for all claims relating to Yahtz will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to use Yahtz in the 12 months before the claim or 100 U.S. dollars.
Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Yahtz and its operators from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your use of Yahtz, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, excluding conflict of law rules. Courts located in Utah will have exclusive jurisdiction unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of Yahtz after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
